RIPP designed and manufactured a replacement engine mount, containing specially designed molded high durometer polyurethane bushes. The mount is supplied with high tensile hardware, fitting should take no more than 30-60 minutes.

Wheel hop will break axles or even worse transmissions; use the RIPP solid Polyurethane press in mount to stop this. The factory Engine mount connects the engine to the chassis and was designed as a soft flexible mount, to provide a very comfortable drive. The main drawback is the amount of engine flex under torque load and on hard acceleration. This engine "slop" greatly decreases stability and smoothness under high performance driving conditions and rapid gear selection.

When you accelerate from a stop you feel a solid hit or bobble (play). This is primarily do to the front mount being hollow. The 1-piece OEM rubber bush does not completely fill the pocket inside the mount casing - leaving it prone to break under harder driving conditions. RIPP's poly mounts are designed for the performance minded drivers is that long term stresses from power enhanced engines tends to cause premature wear of the both the driver and passenger side engine mounts.
