Description Technical Specs Extended Information   The Black Box is RIPP's version of Digital Technologies Smart Tuner 6. Which is a universal (unprogrammed and undeveloped) piggy back system, designed to allow you to tune almost ANY electronically fuel injected engine.  Signals are modified on maps found within the Black Box unit itself, and the Windows Tuning Software. Installation and tuning is simple and  once installed the engine can be re-tuned by anyone with a laptop or PC, comms cable and the Tuning Software. An average installation consists of connecting 6 wires to the vehicle's original wiring loom, changing the settings of the Black Box in the setup section of the Tuning Software and  you're ready to re-tune the vehicle.  An experienced installer can install an SMT6 unit within 30 minutes!   Features The ability to both Add and Subtract fuel and ignition maps Optional Toggle switch to shift between two sets of tuning maps (i.e. Street program or Race program) Primary fuel control Secondary fuel control Air/Fuel Target Map for self-tuning to speeding up initial tuning time Auxiliary Output Maps for featured like NOS injection Includes software and cable Includes 3 Bar Map Sensor Ideal for optimizing and fine-tuning for performance products like exhaust, air intake, intercoolers, boost controllers and turbo upgrades.
