RIPP has innovated an easy to install Blow Off Valve (BOV) Silencer which nearly completely eliminates the surging sound of the BOV in the cabin and outside our Jeep.

By far one of the most annoying things in the JK besides its lack of power is wind noise, the addition of our GEN1 supercharger kit added welcome power but added noise stemming from the much needed BOV. The function of the valve is to release unused air from the intake system to avoid damaging the supercharger. Enter the noise. Given the location of the valve and the lack of sound-deadening material the whooshing sound is intrusive (especially to that special someone sitting in the passenger seat, who allows you to have all these toys).

This fix simply recirculates the normally vented air back into the intake system where a natural noise canceling happens. The result is a 95% noise loss - making the experience much better.
